Equipment Manager/Head Mechanic, Kinloch Golf Club, Manakin-Sabot, VA

Kinloch Golf Club is a private golf club located just outside of Richmond, Virginia. Kinloch has a very intensive maintenance operation. Fairways are mowed with Toro Triplex reel mowers. Tees and approaches are cut with Toro 1600 walk mowers, and Toro Flex21 mowers are used on greens. Kinloch is currently ranked #48 on Golf Digest's Top 100 Golf Courses in America and is set to host the 2011 US Senior Amateur Championship. Educational requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training/degree preferred. Experience requirements are a minimum of 2 years experience in the equipment maintenance field. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard working individual willing to efficiently manage an extensive equipment fleet. Candidate should be able to perform the following: knowledge of diesel and gas engine repair, hydraulics, welding, and electrical trouble shooting; experience with Foley reel and bed knife grinder is a plus; must be able to source parts and information via books, phone, internet, and email; and candidate should be computer literate. Previous experience with TRIMS Grounds Management program is a plus, but not required. The candidate must have the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment and he/she will be responsible for the up keep and preventative maintenance of a large equipment fleet.
