Sedgefield Country Club is seeking a self motivated individual with high standards and a great work ethic to join the golf maintenance staff as the Head Equipment Manager. The golf course underwent a 3 million dollar restoration in 2007 and was re-grassed with 419 hybrid bermudagrass in the fairways, tifsport bermudagrass on the tees and greens surrounds, and A1/A4 bentgrass on the greens. We are also host to the PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship. The Head equipment manager will have at least 5 years experience as a mechanic specializing in golf course equipment, and will be organized and able to keep detailed maintenance records. Reel grinding and proper daily adjustments to all mowers are a must as well as the ability to plan and purchase within budgetary guidelines. The Head Equipment Manager will have an assistant and is responsible for managing this persons time and work load.
