Irrigation Technician, Crowfield Golf and Country Club, Goose Creek, SC

Crowfield Golf and Country Club is Owned and operated by The City of Goose Creek, located in Southern Berkeley County and 19 miles from downtown Charleston. Crowfield Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole, Championship, 6900 yard golf course built in 1990 by Bob Spence. The Maintenance crew consists of a golf course superintendent, assistant superintendent, spray technician, irrigation technician, mechanic and six full time golf course maintenance workers. The irrigation system consists of a Rainbird Central with freedom controls and Toro heads. The Pump house upgrade is planned for a Winter 2010 project. Position is responsible for all repairs, monitoring, record keeping and operation of the irrigation system. Position requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and one year experience performing grounds keeping, landscaping or outdoor labor to include experience with irrigation systems. Prior experience at a golf course preferred. The ability to obtain and maintain a valid South Carolina Drivers License is required.
